Photography is memory. Photography is beauty. Photography doesn't separate us from the world - it's a poetic way of understanding and responding to our surroundings. It’s a way to wonder.
I've believed these things since 1996, when my first camera - a 35mm Minolta SLR - was put into my hands in a Jeep in Kenya. Since then, I've followed my lens around for both work and play, from Mongolia to Nigeria to Costa Rica, and from the wildlands of NYC to the American West.
When I'm not gallivanting, I like to connect with people in their own environments, places where they feel most at ease. My working style is casual and collaborative, with an emphasis on the candid.
I believe love is love and all bodies are beautiful. Bring me all the LGBTQ+ cuties! And dogs, also all the dogs.
